A Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia plans, produces and buys your advertising on Snapchat, then tracks what it brings back in sales or leads. The good ones do four things well: they fix tracking first, make native vertical creative in Arabic, buy media against a target cost, and keep your ad account in your name.
The rest is noise. Before you hire a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia, you should be able to check each of those four points in the first meeting. This guide shows you how.
It is written by the team at Serajj, a digital marketing company in Saudi Arabia based in Riyadh, where we produce Snapchat creative and buy media under one roof.
Why do brands hire a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia?
Because Snapchat is close to a mass medium in the Kingdom. Snap says it has more than 26 million monthly active users in Saudi Arabia. It also says 90% of Saudis aged 13 to 34 use the app actively. Both figures come from an interview its Saudi team gave the Saudi Press Agency, reported by Riyadh Daily in November 2025.
Independent figures point the same way. Snapchat ads can reach 25.3 million people in Saudi Arabia, or 89% of adults aged 18 and over, according to DataReportal’s Digital 2026 Saudi Arabia report.
Attention is the other reason. Snap’s general manager for Saudi Arabia said users spend about 70 minutes a day on the app, Gulf News reported from the Saudi Media Forum in February 2025.
Snapchat advertising in Saudi Arabia is also getting more crowded. In the same interview, Snap’s Saudi team said the number of active advertisers had more than quadrupled over three years. More advertisers mean more competition in the auction, and less room for weak creative or broken tracking.

What does a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia do?
Snapchat ads management covers five jobs. A capable agency handles all of them, or tells you clearly which ones it does not.
1. Strategy and audience planning
The agency turns your business goal into a campaign plan: who to reach, in which cities, with what offer and at what target cost. In the Kingdom, that often means separate plans for Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Al Khobar, because prices, offers and delivery promises differ by city.
2. Creative made for Snapchat
Snapchat ads are full-screen, vertical and fast. They work when they look like content people already watch on the app, not like a TV advert cut down.
That means a clear hook in the first seconds, sound designed for the app, and Arabic copy in the dialect your audience speaks. It also means volume. A Snapchat ads agency should deliver fresh variations every month, because creative fatigue sets in quickly.
Our own creative content and visual production teams script and shoot for vertical formats from day one.
3. Tracking with the Snap Pixel and Conversions API
The Snap Pixel records actions on your website. The Conversions API sends the same events from your server, which recovers conversions that browsers block.
Using both creates a risk of counting every sale twice. Snap’s developer documentation explains the fix: the Pixel’s client_dedup_id must match the API’s event_id, within a 48-hour deduplication window. Purchases can also be matched by transaction ID for up to 30 days.
The Conversions API also accepts offline events, such as phone and in-store orders. That matters in the Kingdom, where many sales close on WhatsApp or over the phone rather than at a website checkout.
If an agency cannot explain this in plain words, your reported results are probably inflated.
4. Media buying and optimisation
Inside Snapchat Ads Manager, the agency chooses the objective, bid strategy, budget and audiences, then adjusts them as data comes in. Good buyers move money between ad sets based on cost per result, not on clicks or swipe-ups alone.
5. Reporting that ties back to revenue
The monthly report should connect Snapchat spend to orders, qualified leads or app installs, then say what changes next month. Swipe-ups and views are useful diagnostics. They are not the result you are paying for.

Which Snapchat ad formats should your agency use?
Snapchat ad formats have expanded beyond the classic full-screen video. Here is what each one is for, based on Snap’s ad formats guide and advertising pages:
- Single Image or Video Ads: the workhorse format, shown in Stories and Spotlight. Most campaigns start here.
- Sponsored Snaps: ads delivered straight to the Chat tab, with optional replies. Useful for offers and conversations.
- Story Ads: a series of images or videos people tap through. Good for product ranges or step-by-step stories.
- Collection Ads: several products under one video, built for shopping.
- Dynamic Product Ads: pull products from your catalogue automatically and retarget shoppers with what they viewed.
- Commercials: ads inside Snap’s curated content. Standard Commercials run 3 to 6 seconds and cannot be skipped, while Extended Play versions run longer with the first 6 seconds non-skippable.
- AR Lenses: interactive camera experiences people play with and share.
- AR Filters: branded overlays for a city, an event or a launch.
If you are new to the platform, start with Single Image or Video Ads to find new customers and Dynamic Product Ads to bring back shoppers. Add Sponsored Snaps, Story Ads or AR once you have an offer that converts.
AR deserves a special mention in the Kingdom. Snap’s Saudi team told the Saudi Press Agency that its lenses get up to eight times more engagement than other platforms in the Saudi market. That is the platform’s own claim, so test it against your goals before you commit a big lens budget.
How much does a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia cost?
If you searched for Snapchat ads KSA pricing, you probably want two numbers: what Snapchat charges for media and what an agency charges to run it.
Snapchat’s minimum ad budget
On its pricing page, Snapchat sets a minimum spend of USD 5 per day and recommends USD 20 to 50 per day. At the fixed rate of 3.75 riyals to the dollar, that is about SAR 19 as a minimum and SAR 75 to 190 a day as a starting range.
Treat that as a floor for testing, not a plan. A campaign needs enough budget to buy a steady flow of conversions each week, or the algorithm never has enough data to learn.
Agency fee models
Most agencies use one of four models. Media spend is paid to Snapchat separately in all four.
- Monthly retainer: a fixed fee for an agreed scope, such as a set number of campaigns and creatives.
- Percentage of ad spend: the fee grows with your budget.
- Hybrid: a base fee plus a bonus tied to agreed targets, such as cost per order.
- Project fee: for one-off work, such as an AR lens or a launch campaign.
Here is a simple example in riyals, for illustration only. On SAR 60,000 of monthly Snapchat spend, a 15% fee comes to SAR 9,000 a month, before any production costs.

What changes the price
- The number of new creatives you need each month.
- Production: studio shoots, creator content and AR lens builds cost more than design-only work.
- The number of cities, languages and products in the plan.
- Tracking work, such as a Conversions API set-up or a catalogue feed.
- Creator fees, which are agreed separately from agency fees.
How to choose a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia
Use these seven checks. A strong Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia should pass all of them without hesitation.
1. Ask for the tracking plan before the media plan
Ask how they will set up the Pixel, the Conversions API and deduplication. Ask how they handle cash-on-delivery orders that are refused at the door, and WhatsApp leads that never become customers. The best answers involve sending confirmed orders and qualified leads back to Snapchat.
2. Check who owns the ad account
Your ad account, Pixel and audiences should sit in your company’s Business Manager, with the agency added as a partner. Snap has been expanding Business Manager so brands can give agencies organisation-level and account-level access while keeping control, MediaPost reported in July 2026. There is no good reason for an agency to own your account.
3. Judge the creative, not the pitch deck
Ask for real Snapchat ads they have produced, in Arabic, in vertical format. Watch the first two seconds. If you would swipe past them, so will your customers.
4. Test their Saudi market knowledge
Ask how they would plan your next season. A good answer covers Ramadan, which is expected to begin in early February 2027, plus Eid, Founding Day on 22 February, Saudi National Day on 23 September and White Friday. It should also explain how Ramadan shifts viewing and shopping later into the night.

5. Confirm they follow Saudi advertising rules
Running Snapchat ads in Saudi Arabia means following local rules, and the agency should raise them before you do.
- Mawthooq: any influencer or creator who appears in a commercial ad needs this licence from the General Authority for Media Regulation, Gulf News reported. This covers visiting creators too.
- E-commerce advertising rules: in September 2025, an online store was fined under the E-Commerce Law over an ad that implied buyers could win a luxury car. The Ministry of Commerce warned that such violations can bring fines of up to one million riyals and the blocking of the store’s website.
- Personal data: uploading customer lists for targeting falls under the Personal Data Protection Law. Its compliance grace period ended on 14 September 2024, according to DLA Piper’s PDPL guide.
6. Does a Snap partner badge matter?
It helps, but it is not proof of results. In April 2025, Snap expanded its agency programme with two badges, Strategic Agency Partner and Agency Partner, which give agencies extra training, support and early access to products. At launch it was live in the US and UK, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE named as the next markets, Social Samosa reported.
If an agency claims a badge, check Snap’s partner directory. Then ask the questions above anyway. A badge tells you about the relationship with Snap, not about results for your business.
7. Ask how they will prove the ads are working
Ask whether they run holdout or geo tests to measure incremental sales. Platform dashboards credit Snapchat with any sale that follows an ad, even when the customer would have bought anyway. A good agency checks its own numbers.

Questions to ask before you hire a Snapchat advertising agency
Take this list into every pitch meeting:
- What cost per order or cost per lead is realistic for us, and how did you calculate it?
- Who will produce our creative, and how many new ads will we get each month?
- Will the ad account, Pixel and audiences stay in our name?
- How will you set up the Conversions API and avoid double-counting?
- How do you handle Mawthooq licences for creators?
- What will our monthly report include?
- How will you prove that sales were caused by the ads?
- What notice period do we have if results do not come?
A Snapchat ads company that answers these in clear, specific terms is worth a second meeting.
Red flags when you hire a Snapchat marketing agency
- Guaranteed results before anyone has looked at your account or margins.
- Reports full of views and swipe-ups but no orders or qualified leads.
- An ad account opened in the agency’s name.
- One creative per month, or recycled TV adverts cut to vertical.
- No plan for the Conversions API or deduplication.
- Silence on Mawthooq and advertising rules.

Agency, in-house team or freelancer?
Each option fits a different stage.
- A freelancer suits small budgets and simple campaigns. The risk is capacity: one person rarely covers strategy, production, buying and tracking well.
- An in-house team gives you control and deep product knowledge. It costs more to hire and keep, and Snapchat expertise is in short supply.
- An agency brings a full team, production capacity and lessons from many accounts. You pay a fee, and you need to manage the relationship well.
Many Saudi brands use a hybrid. An in-house marketer owns the strategy and budget, while the agency handles production and buying.
Snapchat ads vs TikTok ads: which is better for Saudi brands?
Both deserve a test, and the right answer depends on your audience and creative. Snapchat stands out for reach among under-35s, AR formats and Chat-based ads. TikTok stands out for discovery and creator-led content. Our TikTok ads agency in Saudi Arabia guide covers the other side in detail.
Be careful with reach comparisons. DataReportal notes that TikTok’s reported ad reach in Saudi Arabia is higher than the adult population itself, so platform reach figures are not like-for-like.
The fairest test is incremental cost per customer on each platform. A May 2026 study by Snap and a regional media agency group, covering campaigns in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, found Snapchat’s median CPA was 14% lower than other social platforms, Communicate Online reported. In the campaigns studied, Snapchat drove 29% of conversions while taking 27% of social budgets.
Treat platform-backed research as a reason to test, not a final answer.

What should the first 90 days with a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia look like?
A clear first quarter looks like this:
- Weeks 1–2: account audit, Pixel and Conversions API set-up, deduplication checks, and targets agreed from your margins.
- Weeks 3–6: creative tests across hooks, offers and formats. Costs often swing while Snapchat learns.
- Weeks 7–12: budget moves to the winning ads and audiences, and a first holdout or geo test shows what Snapchat really adds.
By day 90 you should know your true cost per order on Snapchat and whether the channel deserves more budget.
